While Hunt has lived a full life, she always had regretted never finishing high school.
Now, 87 years later, Hunt is 103 years old and finally got that high school diploma thanks to her nurse at an assisted living center where she resides. Her nurse worked with River Valley High School and the school district to fulfill Hunt’s wish.
Hunt told WKOW, "It's something I always wanted to do. And I didn't have the opportunity to go and now, 100 years later, here I am!"
