Tracy Morgan Says 'Walmart Did Right By Me and My Family' After Settlement
Almost a year after his horrific crash, Tracy Morgan has reached an undisclosed settlement with Walmart.
"Walmart did right by me and my family,” Morgan says in a statement, “I am grateful that the case was resolved amicably."
The 30 Rock star was on his way back from a gig in Delaware last June when his bus limo was rear ended by a Walmart truck. He suffered brain damage, and continues undergoing physical rehab.
A fellow comedian, James McNair was killed in the accident and his family settled with Walmart for $10 million.
The terms of Morgan’s settlement were sealed but Walmart said in a statement: "Walmart has been committed to doing what's right to help ensure the well-being of all of those who were impacted by the accident."
