Tracy Morgan Says 'Walmart Did Right By Me and My Family' After Settlement

Almost a year after his horrific crash, Tracy Morgan has reached an undisclosed settlement with Walmart.

Comedian Tracy Morgan has settled his lawsuit with Walmart.

"Walmart did right by me and my family,” Morgan says in a statement, “I am grateful that the case was resolved amicably."

The 30 Rock star was on his way back from a gig in Delaware last June when his bus limo was rear ended by a Walmart truck. He suffered brain damage, and continues undergoing physical rehab.

A fellow comedian, James McNair was killed in the accident and his family settled with Walmart for $10 million.

The terms of Morgan’s settlement were sealed but Walmart said in a statement: "Walmart has been committed to doing what's right to help ensure the well-being of all of those who were impacted by the accident."
