Some unsuspecting passengers on a Virgin Atlantic flight from London to Detroit got the surprise of a lifetime when the cast of Motown the Musical broke out in a song and dance with a special surprise from the airlines founder Sir Richard Branson.

And the billionaire didn't just watch the impromptu performance he actually joined in and danced in the aisles with the cast and flight crew.
Virgin just began service between Detroit and London and since the home of Motown is in the Michigan city, it was a natural way for them to celebrate the new service. Motown the musical has been touring but it will return to Broadway next summer.
