'Woman of My Dreams, Will You Please Be My Wife?' Watch Man Sweep Girlfriend off Her Feet in Surprise Stadium
INSIDE EDITION catches a South Carolina man getting down on one knee in front of his girlfriend of six years, and proposing outside Wrigley Field.
It was love at the ball field and a big surprise for INSIDE EDITION’s Deborah Norville, but an even bigger surprise for Ashley Gillespie.
As INSIDE EDITION’s cameras were rolling outside Chicago’s Wrigley Field, they caught a special proposal between one couple. One man got down on one knee and asked, "Woman of my dreams, will you please be my wife?"

A shocked Norville asked Gillespie, “What just happened?”
The emotional Gillespie said, “I just got proposed to!”
Norville then said, “At the Cubs game! How fabulous is this?”
“Amazing, especially for him,” she replied.
The couple has been together for six years and finally Aaron Ewen decided to pop the question. Norville asked him, “What took so long?”
He said, “I don’t know. We came all the way up from South Carolina today to have this moment.”

Ewen was raised in the Chicago area and has been a life-long Cubs fan which made the day extra special for him.
