Mike wanted to do something special for his girlfriend when he proposed to her, so he organized a flash mob to make the moment very special.

"She's also so committed to my son, you would think it's her son the way she is with him, it's beautiful the way their relationship has flourished," he said in a video on YouTube.
Mike decided to propose in Manhattan's Bryant Park with a surprise flash mob captured by Michael Justin Films.
As they walked through the park, actors and dancers began performing "We Go Together" from the musical Grease.

Elizabeth had no idea what was going on or what was about to happen. As the Grease presentation ended, the performers began dancing to the Jason Mraz song "A World With You" as Mike's son came out with a sign that said, "Will You Marry My Daddy?" Mike then got down on one knee to propose to Elizabeth.
Mike told INSIDE EDITION, "Planning the proposal wasn't difficult at all. I believe when your doing something out of love it really comes easy. That doesn't mean that it wasn't hard work, it just means I really enjoyed the whole process from start to finish. Having a vision and seeing it unfold right before your eyes is definitely rewarding. Michael Justin and Wendy Tri (choreographer) did an amazing job making this whole proposal a success!"
All their friends and family came out to celebrate the engagement and the couple even got a special message from Jason Mraz.
