Former Miss Nevada Katherine Nicole Rees Arrested for Meth Trafficking

Former Miss Nevada Katherine Nicole Rees has been arrested for meth trafficking after a criminal complaint was filed in a Las Vegas court.

In 2006, Katherine Nicole Rees was crowned Miss Nevada before lewd photos of her emerged and she was stripped of her title. Now, the former beauty queen finds herself facing a string of meth-related drug charges, according to a criminal complaint filed earlier this week at Las Vegas Justice Court.

The complaint claims she sold methamphetamine in September to a man named “J. Peacock” and a month later, she was found with 5.3 grams of meth. The complaint also says Rees conspired with “Unknown co-conspirators.”

The 30-year-old is charged with four felonies: trafficking in a controlled substance, sale of a controlled substance, and two counts of conspiracy to violate the uniform controlled substances act.

In 2007, after she was stripped of her Miss Nevada title, Rees spoke exclusively to INSIDE EDITION’s Deborah Norville where she talked about losing her crown.

She said: “It was something I had looked forward to since I was a little girl and to have that taken away from me was devastating, especially since it was due to something that had happened years before.”
