Jennifer Hudson Crashes Same-Sex Wedding and Serenades Newlyweds
Jennifer Hudson made a surprise appearance at one of Dallas' first same-sex marriages.
Chris and Scott Lindsey have been together for 14 years and have four children.
The couple was married on July 8th at the W Dallas – Victory hotel and following their touching ceremony, they were shown a special video message from Jennifer Hudson.
But the singer actually crashed the wedding and surprised the couple and all their guests to serenade the newlyweds with her song 'I Still Love You.'
Everyone had a blast singing and dancing at the reception and were in awe of the Oscar winner performed.
The W began planning the surprise, following the landmark Supreme Court ruling on June 26th making same sex marriage legal in all 50 states. The wedding was part of The W hotel and the Human Rights Campaign called 'Turn Up for Change,” which is part of a LGBT marriage equality initiative.
Hudson's surprise will surely be a day this couple will never forget!
