110-Year-Old Reveals Secret To a Long Life: 3 Miller High Lifes a Day
At 110, one New Jersey woman says drinking three Miller High Life beers and a shot a day are the key to long life.
This 110-year-old says she knows the secret to a long life: Miller High Life and whiskey shots.
Agnes Fenton, from New Jersey, told ABC World News that she drank three of "The Champagne of Beers" a day when she turned 105. She turned 110 on Saturday.
Her beer-a-day campaign came 70 years ago when she had a benign tumor. She said her doctor discharged her with a piece of advice.
"He said, 'Agnes, you must drink three Miller High Lifes a day,'" she said.
She also said she had a shot of Johnnie Walker Blue Label each day as well.
Since Fenton eats very little, her caregivers have stopped letting her drink the hard stuff.
But when she was asked by The Record if they would let her enjoy a shot on her big day, she replied: “They better.”
