Shoplifter Stashed $75 Worth of Steak in His Colostomy Bag, Cops Say

A shoplifter stashed $75 worth of ribeye steaks in his colostomy bag, his girlfriend told police.
David Samuel Hoyt, 55, was arrested after allegedly stealing from a Food Lion in Roebuck, South Carolina on Tuesday afternoon.
Police responded to a call from employees, who said that an old man had put five steaks in a bag before walking out of the store and leaving in his green Nissan, according to the police report.

Cops tracked down the car to Hoyt's girlfriend's house.
During questioning, he initially denied stealing the steaks but later admitted that he had put meat in bags before walking out of the store, according to the police report shared by The Smoking Gun.
But Woody told officers that he had removed the meat from the store by putting it in his colostomy bag.
Hoyt was arrested without incident for shoplifting and taken to the county jail, where he remains.
