U.S. Air Force Technical Sergeant Aixa Rodriguez came home early to surprise her son Aiden in front of 5,000 people.

A military mom returning from Afghanistan surprised her unsuspecting six-year-old son in front of thousands of people.

Little Aiden thought he was standing up for the “Hero’s Salute” portion of a show at SeaWorld but instead his mother’s name was announced.

His face lit up at mention of her name – and suddenly she appeared behind him, and the mom and son shared a hug as they were reunited.

Aiden had no idea his mom would be there.

"I thought I was picking her up from the airport on Monday, but she tricked me!" he told icFlorida.

SeaWorld in Orlando wrote as it shared the video on Facebook: "We're honored to have been a part of this touching military homecoming between a mother and her 6-year-old son."
