Caitlyn Jenner May Face Manslaughter Charges Over Deadly Crash, Investigators Say
The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department said on Thursday that investigators will recommend a vehicular manslaughter charge against Jenner.
Caitlyn Jenner could be charged with vehicular manslaughter for her role in a fatal car crash in California last February.
Investigators plan to recommend that prosecutors file the charge against her, the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department said on Thursday.
Investigators found that Jenner was driving "unsafe for the prevailing road conditions," police spokeswoman Nicole Nishida told The Associated Press.

Jenner's Cadillac Escalade was towing a trailer carrying an off-road vehicle when she slammed into two vehicles on Pacific Coast Highway.
She hit a Lexus, pushing it into oncoming traffic, and its driver, 69-year-old Kim Howe, was killed when her vehicle was hit by a Hummer.
Jessica Steindorff, who was driving a Toyota Prius that was also rear-ended by Jenner, was injured.
Jenner, who was publicly known as Bruce Jenner at the time of the crash, escaped serious injury in the crash and declined medical treatment, authorities said.

The spokeswoman says the case will be presented for final review next week and then the district attorney will determine what charges Jenner ultimately faces, if any.
If convicted of the charge, Jenner would face up to one year in county jail.
