The child, who was found dead in June, has been identified as a little girl named Bella.
A child who became known as Boston’s Baby Doe after her body was found in the city's harbor has finally been identified.
Authorities say the little girl, whose body was discovered inside a plastic bag on Deer Island in June, is believed to be a child called Bella.

The mother has been identified as 40-year-old Rachelle Bond, while her boyfriend has been identified as 35-year-old Michael McCarthy.
McCarthy was arrested and charged with her murder, Suffolk County District Attorney Daniel Conley said on Friday, while Bond was charged as an accessory after the fact. Conley did not offer specifics on her alleged involvement.
Home video and photos of Bella posted to her mother's Facebook page show the little girl playing at her home. The last photo on her mom's Facebook page was posted Christmas day last year -- six months before her body was found on the shoreline.
The break in the case reportedly came when a relative called police after realizing Bella had not been seen for some time. According to reports, when Bella's parents were asked where she was, the relative was told she had been taken away by child welfare.
Police executed a search warrant at a home in the Boston neighborhood of Mattapan.
HLN's Nancy Grace told INSIDE EDITION: "I am relieved. Still heartbroken over the news of baby Bella."
The Baby Doe mystery received international attention when authorities released an artist's rendering of what the girl would look like, based on the decomposed body.

Forensic artist Christi Andrews of the Center for Missing and Exploited Children created the image.
“They are a number, we don't want them to be a number,” she said.
