Sandra Lee Reveals: I'm Cancer Free After Double Mastectomy
The TV chef shared the good news while on 'Good Morning America' on Tuesday.
Sandra Lee is cancer-free.
The TV chef underwent a double mastectomy after being diagnosed with breast cancer.
While appearing on Good Morning America on Tuesday, she made a dramatic announcement: "My doctors have said I am cancer free and I am ready to go. So I celebrated at the Emmys.”
Lee looked stunning at Sunday’s awards ceremony in Los Angeles. She wore a vintage gown designed to show lots of cleavage.
Lee said she wore the dress to make a statement. "
I just wanted to say it doesn’t matter if you’re a double "D" or an "A," which I am. I feel so young and liberated,” she said.
