Is Hillary Clinton Wearing a Wig? Donald Trump Makes Quip About Her 'Massive' Hair
Donald Trump believes Hillary Clinton might be wearing a wig.
Donald Trump suggested that Hillary Clinton's "massive" new hairstyle could be a wig as he chatted on a conservative talk show.
The conversation came as The Drudge Report posted an image of Clinton with the headline: “Is That a Wig?”
Trump raised the issue when talk show host Mark Levin asked about Clinton's appeal to voters.
The presidential hopeful responded: "Well, she has a new hairdo, did you notice that today?"
"That’s called a wig," Levin responded.
Trump continued: "I tell you what it really was shocking to see it because you're right it must be, it was massive. Her hair became massive."
Meanwhile, Trump is under fire over his proposal to deport millions of illegal aliens. In Tuesday night's GOP debate he compared it to a controversial mass roundup from the 1950s.
Trump said: “They moved a million and a half illegal aliens just beyond the border. They came back. Moved them again beyond the border - they came back. Didn't like it. Moved them way south. They never came back.”
The deportation of 1.3 million people by the Eisenhower administration was called "Operation Wetback.”
Bill O’Reilly challenged Trump on the roundup on Wednesday night’s O’Reilly Factor.
The host asked: “Do you know what that program was called?”
“I do, but I don't like to use that word,” Trump said.
“Believe me when I tell you, Mr. Trump, that was brutal what they did to those people to kick them back. I mean, the stuff they did was really brutal. It could never happen today,” O’Reilly said.
“I have heard it both ways… We would do it in a very humane way. Let me tell you,” Trump said.
Steven Colbert had this reaction on The Late Show: “It was a little program the United States government called “Operation Wetback.” You might want to update that button to ‘I like Ike’ with significant reservations.”
Trevor Noah, an immigrant himself, took Trump to task on The Daily Show.
"First, Eisenhower ended up deporting probably 250,000 immigrants, and second, that program that Donald Trump loved so much was officially called 'Operation Wetback,'" Noah said. "There's something to be said for a policy that doesn't hide where it's coming from. It's like if 'Stop And Frisk' was called, 'Hey, what's in that black guy's pockets?'"
