District Attorney's Office is Considering Felony Drug Charges Against Lamar Odom
The Nye County District Attorney's Office is considering whether to file drug charges against Lamar Odom, an employee told INSIDE EDITION.
Nevada prosecutors are considering filing felony drug charges against former NBA star Lamar Odom, who was found unconscious at a brothel after an alleged binge of booze and drugs.
Talks are underway about whether to charge Odom, according to an employee of the Nye County District Attorney’s Office who spoke to INSIDE EDITION Monday night. The worker, who is not authorized to speak to the media, asked not to be identified.
Odom is now being treated in Los Angeles after being hospitalized in critical condition after an extended stay at the Love Ranch brothel in Crystal, Nevada.
He was rushed to a Las Vegas hospital on Oct. 13 after being found unresponsive. Law enforcement officers took a sample of his blood for a toxicology test. Emergency 911 calls from the brothel said Odom was using cocaine during his stay.
The 36-year-old has previously battled addiction problems.
