For the first time ever, a boy has been featured in a Barbie commercial.
Italian designer Moschino teamed up with toy maker Mattel to release a $150 special edition Barbie doll that sold out in less than an hour.
The brands are trying to break the stereotypes that have been linked to boys and girls toys over time.
In the video, the young boy with a blonde mohawk says the Barbie dolls are “so fierce!” He later winks at the camera.
Designer Jeremy Scott took to Instagram to praise fans' support:
This might be the hottest and most in-demand Christmas gift this season.
