Customer Leaves Anti-Immigration Note For Waitress Instead of Tipping
People are standing behind a waitress who received an offensive note from a customer who refused to tip.
A California waitress at a Thai restaurant received an offensive message from a customer last week instead of a tip.
Last week an unnamed man went to the Bamboo Thai Bistro in Redondo Beach and instead of leaving gratuity he wrote “Tip for U.S. Citizens Only” on his credit card receipt.

A picture of his nasty message on the receipt was posted on social media and soon went viral.
The waitress, whose identity has not been released, is from Thailand but working in the U.S. legally, according to NBC4.
Restaurant manager Adison Karnsomport told NBC4 that people have been very generous and the kind gestures show that not all customers are like the man who left the offensive note.
Many have sent notes to the waitress to show their support, others have left her larger tips.
