Linda Wiese, 59, faces a felony count of child endangerment and a misdemeanor charge of possessing drug paraphernalia.
She was released on her own recognizance earlier this week. She has not entered a plea, authorities said.
“She was cooperative. She was honest. It was just a bizarre case,” Lt. Lane Findlay of the Weber County Sheriff’s Office told INSIDE EDITION Thursday.
The discovery was made on Oct. 22.
Deputies searched the child’s home and discovered drugs in plain sight and near children’s toys and books.
Parents Bruce and Joann Tyler admitted to using drugs in the house, authorities said. They were arrested and charged with drug possession and child endangerment, deputies said.
They have pleaded not guilty.

The girl, as well as a 20-month-old and two-year-old, were placed in state custody, Findlay said.
The grandma was also questioned. She was not initially arrested because she had several health issues and was on oxygen, Findlay explained.
She was not deemed a threat to her grandchildren because the kids were under state protection, he said.
Wiese turned herself in on Monday, and was booked and released without bail, he said.
