This Family's Dubstep Christmas Light Show Must Be Seen to Be Believed
Matt Johnson from San Antonio, Texas has created a Christmas spectacle to the beat of holiday songs that have been remixed in the style of dubstep.
The Christmas light show on this Texas family's home must been seen (and heard) to be believed.
Matt Johnson has rigged thousands of lights on his home and property not only to brilliantly light up the San Antonio night, but to do so to the beat of your favorite holiday tunes remixed in the style of the electronic genre dubstep.
Spectators can take in the unbelievable attraction by tuning their car radio to a frequency on which the family broadcasts remixed versions of such standards as Carol of the Bells, Jingle Bell Rock and other less traditional tunes.
The Johnsons have put on the amazing show before. In previous years, it has used about 300 to 500 LED Christmas lights and 6,181 pixels, KENS reports.
This year, Matt and his wife Melissa added custom-designed LED snowflakes and wreaths to the display, which can be seen in this YouTube video.

But it isn't for them, Mr. Johnson says.
"The main reason that I do the light show is because of my kids. They are the age where they think it's so cool and their friends think it's cool" he told KENS, "Their friends will come dance in the street."
For 2015, however, the Johnsons have found an additional reason to do the show: for charity.
Specifically, to help raise money for Living Water Internation, a Christian charity that demonstrates "the love of God by helping communities acquire desperately needed clean water" according to its website.
According to Mr. Johnson, it was his wife's idea to add the charitable element to this year's show.

"The past several months, all she talks about is clean water and how many kids are dying from a lack of clean water," Johnson said. "She's already been wanting to do this and we're just extending it to the light show."
"People are able to submit pledges via text message while they are watching the show and see real-time updates of each night's pledges," he continued.
Living Water International has a fundraising page dedicated to the Johnson's light show. As of Sunday morning, over $1,500 had been raised.
The fundraiser has a goal of $10,000.
