Student Arrested After He Blew Smoke in Teacher's Face: Cops
Police in Arkansas say Christopher Dunn, 18, is the student seen in cell phone footage lighting a cigar and blowing smoke in his teacher's face.
A teenage high school student in Arkansas was arrested this week on charges stemming from an alleged December encounter with a teacher who says he blew cigar smoke in the educator's face during class.
Christopher Dunn, 18, has been charged with harassment for allegedly blowing smoke three times into the face of his teacher, Robert Holley, at North Little Rock High School on December 14.
The incident was reportedly caught on video and uploaded to YouTube by a student. Dunn was arrested Monday and booked in the Pulaski County jail.
According to a police report obtained by The Smoking Gun, Holley told police the trouble began when Dunn showed up to class to take an exam.
Holley told the teen he'd have to take the exam outside in the hallway, but the teen refused. Holley then told the teen he'd have to call a campus supervisor to remove him.
According to the report, Holley moved to press a button that calls a supervisor to the class when Dunn told him "hit the button, I dare you."
Holley then pressed the button and turned his back to the class while writing up a form about Dunn's actions.
That's when Holley said he heard a commotion and turned around to get smoke to the face.
Dunn was soon escorted from the classroom.
According to Holley, Dunn looked back as he was being taken out of the classroom and said, "I'll be back."
Dunn was booked on a harassment charge and was later released on $2,500 bond.
