Watch this Carefree Panda Frolic in Snowdrifts as Blizzard Buries National Zoo
Tian Tian, an 18-year-old giant panda that lives at the Smithsonian's National Zoo in Washington, loves the snow.
While your Blizzard of 2016 blues may be just beginning, at least one resident of the buried Northeast is taking all the snow in stride.
Perhaps we should all learn a thing or two from Tian Tian, a giant panda at the Smithsonian's National Zoo who is having the time of his life as the nation's capital gets buried under two feet or more of snow.
Tian Tian woke up this morning to a lot of snow...and he was pretty excited about it. #Blizzard2016Posted by Smithsonian’s National Zoo and Conservation Biology Institute on Saturday, January 23, 2016
The panda's caregivers shared a video of the zoo resident on Saturday and it shows the 18-year-old panda having the time of his life.
In just two hours, the video of Tian Tian happily rolling down a hill had been viewed some 3.6 million times.
Meanwhile, the popular panda exhibit, along with all the others at the Washington, D.C. zoo, was closed Friday due to the blizzard and was due to remain closed through the weekend.
Dangerous conditions were seen throughout most of Greater Washington as the massive snowstorm barreled through the area starting around midday Friday.
Those conditions continued into Satruday as the storm continued Northeast toward New York.
A blizzard warning was issued for Washington, D.C. through 6 a.m. on Sunday.
