This Coyote Took a Shopping Trip to Kohl's
A coyote was found inside a Kohl's store and was too scared to leave.
A coyote apparently in search of a good deal was found inside an Indiana Kohl’s department store.
Wildlife officials say they were called to the scene after the coyote refused to leave the vestibule area.
The Indiana Department of Natural Resources District shared photos of the Saturday incident.
Officer Nicole Baumann told The Time of Norwest Indiana that the coyote became scared once he realized where he'd ended up.
"He wandered in there and realized, 'This is not where I want to be at all,'" she said. "It was just a matter of trying to direct him."
She and two other officers were able to get him out of the store unarmed. He ran off back into the wild.
