Surveillance footage shows a woman watching over a young girl as she apparently swipes a wallet from a purse.
The pint-sized pickpocket appears to pinch the wallet from a bag on the back of a chair in Snuffer's Restaurant & Bar in Addison, Texas while the woman shields her from other diners.

Footage shows the wallet in the little girl's hand before they leave with another, younger child.
The wallet, which was taken from the bag on January 1, contained a debit card, a visa card, the owner's driving license and $5 in cash, according to a police report.
Addison Police released the footage in a bid to track down the woman overseeing the ruse.
A representative for Addison Police told INSIDE EDITION no arrests have been made but said the video has led to several tips.
On seeing the video, some patrons said they recognize the duo from other thefts in the area, the representative added.
A woman told KDFW she was the victim of a similar theft in November. When she watched the surveillance footage from Snuffer's, she recognized the woman, she said.
"It breaks my heart for the children because they don't have a choice," Karen Arthur told the channel. "She's teaching them this lifestyle and it’s tragic."
Anyone with information about the theft is asked to contact Addison Police at 972-450-7115 or email rmccafferty@addisontx.gov.
