This Dog-Sized Rabbit Needs a New Home

A rabbit the size of a dog is looking for a new home after his previous owners couldn't care for him any longer.
A seven-month-old rescue rabbit that is as large as a dog is looking for a new home.

Atlas, the continental giant rabbit, is up for adoption at Glasgow’s Scottish Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals in Scotland after his previous owners could not keep him any longer.
Staff members have made a plea to find Atlas a new home.

Due to Atlas’ size, he needs a lot of space and can weigh up to 13 pounds.
“He is a very friendly rabbit who loves attention and getting cuddles," the SPCA said. "Atlas is also an inquisitive boy who makes everyone laugh with his mischievous character.”

Since posting images of Atlas to social media on Monday, he has been getting a lot of attention.
“We’ve been inundated with calls and emails from people as far afield as America and Canada!” Communitcation Officer Emma Smith told INSIDE EDITION.
