Miss America 2010: She Went from Geek to Chic!
INSIDE EDITION talks to the new Miss America, Caressa Cameron of Richmond, Virginia. She says she used to be a geek and she was teased in high school.
It's hard to believe but the newly-crowned Miss America 2010, Caressa Cameron, once looked like a geek, with braces and all.
"This is my freshman year, this is actually a better photo," Caressa says. "I was pretty awkward."
And you'll never believe what Miss America's nickname was when she was attending high school in Virginia.
"Kids were mean to me. They called me 'Wolverine.' It was absolutely horrible," she says. "I had a unibrow and really long sideburns."
But now Caressa is having the last laugh. "Watch out who you're making fun of...you could be possibly making fun of the next Miss America!"
