Oysters, Caviar and Chicken Pot Pies: See the Menu For the Oscars Governors Ball
Wolfgang Puck reveals what he's preparing for Hollywood royalty.
Celebrity chef Wolfgang Puck has revealed the 30 mouthwatering dishes he’ll be serving to Hollywood royalty at the Oscars’ Governors Ball next weekend.
Guests will be able to feast on comfort food including chicken pot pie, hamburger sliders, doughnuts and mac and cheese as they celebrate at the Oscars after-party.
There’ll also be caviar-topped smoked salmon in the shape of Academy Awards, fresh lobster and Alaskan king crab. Guests will sip a cocktail named The Golden Goose Fizz, which will be served inside a gold egg.
Puck gave a preview of the food at the Ray Dolby Ballroom in Hollywood on Thursday.
"We did this already for 22 years so we know what the people eat and also most of the movie stars and most of Hollywood come to our restaurant so we know what they like," he said. "So we always make some traditional dishes, some comfort food and some more modern things."
The food will be served to as many as 1,500 guests on February 28.
