A basketball coach at Whitman State College in Washington State gives each of his players a special handshake before a big game.

One by one, the players get a turn for their individual handshake with assistant coach Stephen Garnett.
Garnett says he tries out handshakes with his four-year-old son, Aylen.
The handshakes seem to have worked, given the team made a run to the Sweet 16 round of the Division III version of March Madness.
Garnett told IE the handshakes “gets them hyped.”

He added that it is “the closest I can to being out there on the court” with the players during the game.
Footage of his handshakes has taken the web by storm. Millions of people have viewed them.
