Husband Goes On Trial For Fourth Time in Missing Wife's Murder
Calvin Harris' wife Michele vanished the day after 9/11. He's since been tried three times in her murder and is about to go to court once again.
A New York man is about to face his fourth murder trial for allegedly killing his wife, who vanished in 2001.
Calvin Harris was in the midst of a contentious divorce from his wife, Michele, when her minivan was discovered abandoned at the end of the couple's long driveway.

While Michele's body has never been found, Harris has already been found guilty for her murder twice--in 2007 and 2009. Both convictions were later overturned on appeal.
In a third trial, a jury deadlocked in May 2015.
Harris has maintained his innocence every step of the way.
"It's been a nightmare. I've been ripped away from my kids three times now," Harris said in 2014. "Three times now I've had to sit in a jail cell or a prison cell and wait for a judge or judges to overturn this thing."
For the fourth time, jury selection began as prosecutors persist in the high-profile case with no body, no weapon and — after 15 years — no resolution.
However, this time Harris and his attorneys have opted for a bench trial, leaving Judge Richard Mott to decide his fate starting Thursday.

This time, Harris' attorneys say they intend to point the finger at other men who they say Michele was dating at the time of her disappearance.
"We're building a body of evidence that implicates these other individuals. Common sense, I think, would tell any individual that this evidence is relevant, it's probative, and it's certainly enough to acquit Cal," defense attorney Bruce Barket said.
According to WBNG, attorneys discussed that evidence before Judge Richard Mott on Monday. It includes a bra strap, charred fabric, buttons and more in a burn pit at an area home.
