Was Ashley Graham Photoshopped To Look Slimmer on 'Maxim' Cover?
The photographer insists the plus-size model wasn't made to look thinner.
Plus-size model Ashley Graham sizzles on the cover of the latest Maxim magazine - but some are asking whether she was Photoshopped to look slimmer.
On the cover, the 28-year-old model covers up in a plain white shirt but, after she proudly posted the image to Instagram, some fans suggesed the photo was doctored to make her look skinnier.
One said: “It's definitely too photo shopped, and not in a good way.”
“Your curves are gorgeous and Maxim should not minimize who you are...shame on them!” said another.
INSIDE EDITION asked Adam Waltner of the New York Institute of Photography for his opinion.
"The reason she appears slimmer is because of the light and because of the body position," he said. "She is at an angle. When people are at an angle, they are not going to look as big if they were flat."
French photographer Gilles Bensimon took the images, which also show her in a cut out swimsuit and lingerie.
He wrote on Instagram: “I shot this image of Ashley, and we didn't make her slimmer at all!!!”
Graham also shared other shots from her shoot on Instagram:
