Is Kelly Ripa's 'Freedom' Jacket Another Dig at Michael Strahan?
Kelly Ripa appears to be sending another message to the world with her new duds.
Kelly Ripa has appeared to send another message to the world as she was photographed leaving her New York City townhouse for work Thursday morning.
Her white bomber jacket had the word “Freedom” emblazoned across the back. It is being seen as another dig at departing Live! co-host Michael Strahan.
Ripa’s “message” of freedom is being seen as just the latest in a line of "not so subtle" messages.
Right after being blindsided by the announcement that Strahan was leaving the show last month, she left home carrying a copy of David and Goliath.

On Thursday’s show, Ripa and Strahan stepped out hand-in-hand but things seemed to get a little uncomfortable as they spoke with a graduating college student.
When the soon-to-be graduate said she majored in journalism and media studies, Ripa made a sarcastic swipe, saying: “Oh my gosh, perfect! Guys, just in the nick of time!”
Strahan then tried to ebb the situation: “But do me a favor, don't let this show scare you away from your dreams.”

When the cameras weren't rolling, audience members said they observed the two co-hosts getting along between commercial breaks
Strahan’s final show will take place Friday. He has reportedly asked that it be "low key,” saying he would be happy with a simple montage of his favorite moments from his four years at Kelly Ripa's side.
