Passenger Films Agony Over Unbelievably Long TSA 'Line From Hell'
Photographer Sean Hoffman shot the video at Chicago's Midway Airport.
A Chicago air traveler has turned heads with his honest narrative of what is being called the “TSA Line From Hell.”
Sean Hoffman recorded the video of a massive line of humanity inside Chicago’s Midway Airport Thursday.
“I just couldn’t believe it,” he told Inside Edition. “It was mindblowing.”
The video seems to sum up widespread anger Americans are feeling about the long lines at TSA checkpoints.
“There were certainly some people near me that missed their flights for sure,” he said. “There was a lot of stress, a lot of cursing.”
Hoffman says he was in the line for an excruciating hour-and-a-half.
With the summer travel season in its early days, scenes like the one in Midway are being seen at major airports across America.
Frustrated travelers are using the #IHateTheWait hashtag on social media to vent their frustration.
On Thursday, a glitch at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport in Arizona caused a baggage backlog as they were going through TSA screenings. It resulted in thousands of pieces of luggage piling up.
Many passengers took off while their bags sat in a lot.
The TSA has said they are devising a plan to alleviate wait time at the nation's busiest airports.
