In one of the texts, obtained exclusively by Entertainment Tonight, Depp's assistant tells Heard: 'He's a little lost boy. And needs all the help he can get. He is so very sorry, as he should be. When I told him he kicked you, he cried. It was disgusting. And he knows it.”

Heard reportedly wrote back that Depp has “done this many times before, and I always stay. Always believe he's going to get better.”

The texts were allegedly written in 2014.

Heard filed for divorce last week and obtained a temporary restraining order against Depp, who has denied all allegations of abuse.
