Jennifer Lopez Says She's Getting 'Bumps, Bruises, Scar Tissue, Bloody Knuckles' During Vegas Gigs
"Jenny from the Block" is taking her fair share of pain for her Vegas concerts.
Don't be fooled by the knocks that she got during her latest Vegas concerts.
Jennifer Lopez is taking Sin City by storm with her splashy show at Planet Hollywood, however, her latest spectacle is causing some injuries.
Ten costume changes combined with high energy singing and dancing has led to some black and blues on the 46-year-old's body.
"Bumps, bruises, scar tissue, bloody knuckles. A little like a boxing match but not as crazy,” she told Fox 5 New York’s Rosanna Scotto for an interview special called: Rosanna Scotto and Jennifer Lopez: What Happened In Vegas.
The singer added: “I don't know how to dial it back. Every night I say ‘I’ll take it easy on this part.’ And then I don't. And then I go, 'oh, Why did I do that? I'm so tired!'"
The "Jenny From the Block" singer revealed that she was about "two or three" years old when she learned her famous booty shake.
She credits her mother for teaching her and said: “I kept it in the act. If it ain’t broke...”
Offstage, the singer says she spends all her free time with her 8-year-old twins, Emmy and Max. The kids are being home-schooled because she says she doesn't want to miss a minute with them.
“Everyone's like you should have them in school. And they need friends! It can drive you crazy but they're 8 years old now and they are super happy, well adjusted, loving caring kids and that's the most important thing,” she said.
