Police on the Hunt for 'Bikini Bandit' Who's Still on the Loose in Southern California
A woman clad in just a yellow and green bikini is suspected of two robberies in Lancaster and Lake Hughes.
Have you seen this beach bum?
That's what investigators in Southern California are asking after a woman is suspected of two burglaries early this month while wearing nothing but a bikini.
After weeks passed with no luck finding her, authorities released a photo of the woman on Tuesday.
And sure enough, she appears ready for a dip in the Pacific in a yellow and green bikini.
According to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Office, the scantily clad suspect entered a locked property in Lancaster June 4. The individual swiped some items from the location.
Later that day, the same suspect allegedly entered an unlocked residence in Lake Hughes, where valuables were also taken.
The suspect is described as a white female in her late 30’s, approximately 5-foot-5 and weighing 120 pounds.
Anyone who recognizes the suspect is encouraged to call LA Crime Stoppers anonymous tip line at 800-222-TIPS (8477).
