Heartbreaking Video Shows Boys Sobbing After Learning Their Brother Was Killed in Bombing

A heart-wrenching video captured the harrowing cries of two young boys who had just lost their brother in the bombing of a Syrian neighborhood, according to reports.

Covered in dust from the blast, the brothers, who survived the bombing in the city of Aleppo Thursday night, can be seen grabbing and hugging each other in pure grief.

Differing accounts have surfaced on how many people were killed as a result of the bombing, but the anti-government activist group that published the video, Aleppo Media Center, alleged 13 died and many more were injured.

Other photos published on the page show children trapped in rubble, and people searching for survivors under the debris.

According to CNN, the barrel bomb attack was one of two deadly attacks in the city on Thursday.

It was only a week ago that video of a child named Omran, bleeding and in shock, was highly publicized after the 5-year-old boy’s home was destroyed in an airstrike in Syria. Omran’s brother was also said to have died in the attack, according to reports.
