Differing accounts have surfaced on how many people were killed as a result of the bombing, but the anti-government activist group that published the video, Aleppo Media Center, alleged 13 died and many more were injured.

According to CNN, the barrel bomb attack was one of two deadly attacks in the city on Thursday.
It was only a week ago that video of a child named Omran, bleeding and in shock, was highly publicized after the 5-year-old boy’s home was destroyed in an airstrike in Syria. Omran’s brother was also said to have died in the attack, according to reports.
