No, not the Russian leader, but a Florida man who bears the same name, was arrested August 21 in West Palm Beach for trespassing.
Police say the 48-year-old was arrested in a Publix supermarket after he was screaming at employees and refused to leave the store.
When police arrived on the scene, he refused to give his name, according to cops, and was also charged resisting an officer without violence.
Authorities initially listed Putin as "John Doe" in the police report after he allegedly refused to give any personal information. The report later indicated that "John Doe" was switched to Vladimir Putin.
