Playboy Playmate Dani Mathers Could Be Charged for Fat-Shaming Locker Room Picture

In July, Dani Mathers posted an unflattering image of a nude gymgoer who has now been identified as a woman in her 70s.

The former Playboy Playmate who fat-shamed a fellow gymgoer after posting a nude photo of the woman on Snapchat may face criminal charges.

According to TMZ, the woman who was pictured in the social media post is in her 70s and wants Dani Mathers to be charged for what she did.

The Los Angeles City Attorney is reviewing the case and if Mathers is charged, it would fall under a charge of Dissemination of Private Images, a misdemeanor punishable by up to six months in jail.

“Dani Mathers never tried to hurt anyone at any time and certainly never tried to break any law.” Mathers’ lawyer, Tom Mesereau, said in a statement.

He also said the reports of charges being filed against his client are “not true.”

In July, the 2015 “Playmate of the Year” posted an unflattering image of a naked woman getting changed inside an L.A. Fitness gym locker room with the caption: “If I can’t unsee this, then you can’t either.”

Mathers apologized for taking the image, saying “It was absolutely wrong and not what I meant to do.”

In the wake of the Snapchat scandal, Mathers has was fired from her regular radio gig at KLOS-FM 95.5 on “The Heidi and Frank Show” and banned for life from all 800-plus L.A. Fitness facilities across the country.

Once the story broke, the hashtag #ArrestDaniMathers became a trending topic.
