19-Year-Old Battling Brain Cancer Surprised With Bedroom Makeover
"I’m actually really surprised I wanted to cry," Krystal Adams said.
Life’s a beach for this Tennessee 19-year-old battling brain cancer.
Krystal Adams, of Williamson County, was met with a sand and surf-themed bedroom after volunteers surprised her with a room makeover.
“I’m actually really surprised; I wanted to cry,” Krystal, who was speechless upon walking into her new bedroom, told WTVF.
Krystal was deemed cancer-free for three years, but doctors recently discovered that the brain tumors had returned.
The Nashville Predators hockey team, their wives and girlfriends, and other volunteers from the non-profit organization Special Spaces, all joined forces to cheer up the ice-hockey fan by redecorating the room.
They team also gave her a stick from her favorite Predators player, goaltender Pekka Rinne.
