The invitations to the royal wedding are in the mail, and what's more surprising than who wasn't invited is who did make the list. INSIDE EDITION has more.
Invitations are in the mail for the wedding of the century.
The biggest surprise on the guest list is rapper Kanye West. It turns out Prince William is reportedly a big fan of the controversial rap star.
Elton John, a close friend of Prince William's late mother Diana, was another one of the lucky 1,900 people to score an invite.
Victoria and David Beckham also made the coveted guest list.
The happy couple also extended invites to their former flames. William invited two ex-girlfriends, Jecca Craig and Olivia Hunt and Kate invited her ex-boyfriend.
But President Obama and First Lady Michelle didn't make the cut
"It's certainly not a snub to the Obamas. That is really according to royal protocol, because at the moment it's not considered a full state occasion," explains royal expert Elaine Lipworth.
And it's no surprise that disgraced Duchess of York Sarah Ferguson was also left off the invite list.
A spokesman for Fergie says, "She never expected to be invited."
A Lifetime TV movie about the couple is in the works. Unknown actors Camilla Luddington and Nico Swindell star as Kate and William. Lifetime hopes to air the movie the week before the royal wedding in April.
