'Brat Pack' Actor Anthony Michael Hall Charged With Battery in Alleged Attack on Neighbor
The actor appeared in the 1980s "Brat Pack" films, including "Sixteen Candles" and "The Breakfast Club."
Anthony Michael Hall, best known for his geeky portrayals in the 1980s “Brat Pack” films, has been charged with felony battery causing serious bodily harm, according to the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office.
Hall, 48, allegedly attacked a neighbor in his Playa del Rey condominium complex, according to reports.
The incident took place on September 13, according to the criminal complaint filed against the star of Sixteen Candles and The Breakfast Club.
He allegedly injured his neighbor’s wrist and back in an altercation prompted by a gate being left open at Hall’s condo complex, TMZ reported.

Hall’s arraignment date has not been scheduled, according to the DA's office.
