The movie portrays a grief-stricken first lady demanding that her husbands' funeral be modeled after that of Abraham Lincoln.
Elizabeth McNeil of People magazine told Inside Edition: "She wanted him to be remembered, and I think she wanted him to be remembered in this somewhat regal way. She wants to sort of dictate the way she wants him to be remembered in the magical mystical way that last to this day."
Apparently, it was the former first lady’s idea to compare the slain leader’s thousand-day presidency to the tale of King Arthur and Camelot.
The new issue of People, on stands Friday, also examines what she knew about her husband’s long list of lovers, including Marilyn Monroe and Judith Exner, who claimed she was pregnant with his child when she had an abortion.
