Alec Baldwin Responds to Trump's 'SNL' Criticism: 'Release Your Tax Returns and I'll Stop'

The president-elect called the show 'unwatchable.'

Following Alec Baldwin’s return to Saturday Night Live to spoof Donald Trump, the president-elect and the actor went at it on Twitter following the episode.

Trump saw the 30 Rock actor’s impression of him and once again, was not impressed, tweeting:

Just tried watching Saturday Night Live - unwatchable! Totally biased, not funny and the Baldwin impersonation just can't get any worse. Sad

Baldwin must have anticipated Trump’s reactions and was retweeting from his foundation's account, asking the president-elect to release his tax returns. And if he does, Baldwin will apparently retire his Trump parody.

Release your tax returns and I'll stop.

Baldwin debuted his Trump spoof in October, angering the president-elect almost immediately. Trump has previously taken to Twitter to call for SNL to be canceled, and has repeatedly said the show is not funny.
