Robin Thicke Breaks Down in Tears as Father, 'Growing Pains' Star Alan Thicke, Is Laid to Rest
Thicke was buried inside a Santa Barbara cemetery.
Alan Thicke has been laid to rest in a California cemetery, a week after the well-known TV dad's sudden death at an ice rink.
Photos have emerged of the intimate family moments as his son, singer Robin Thicke, appeared overcome with grief as he helped pull his dad’s casket out of a hearse in Santa Barbara.
The 39-year-old singer was overcome with emotion as she said goodbye to his dad.
The day before, Robin was the MC at a memorial for his late father, who died of an apparent heart attack at 69 last week at a Los Angeles ice skating rink prior to a hockey game.
The event featured many of Thicke’s friends, the cast of Growing Pains, including Leonardo DiCaprio — who got his start on the series — as well as Alex Trebek, Bob Saget and Bill Maher.
