Is Kate Middleton Losing Too Much Weight?

There is some concern that future princess Kate Middleton is losing too much weight due to the media attention and pressures of marrying into the royal family. INSIDE EDITION reports.

Kate Middleton appears to be losing weight while prepping for her big wedding day, and now some are now expressing concern that she is getting too thin!

Amanda Platell, a well-known columnist for London's Daily Mail, wrote an open letter to Kate urging her to "PLEASE ditch your wedding diet."

"Your normally healthy, lithe and athletic body — the one that captured the Prince's eye when you wore that diaphanous dress on a university catwalk — has almost disappeared, along with your curves," Platell writes.

Platell became concerned after seeing the princess-to-be's appearance in Northern Ireland earlier this week.

"Yet the pictures of you on Tuesday were alarming, Kate. Yes, you still look radiant […] But those legs are worryingly thin."

During the visit, one well-wisher reportedly told Kate that she's lost too much weight and Kate is said to have responded, "All part of the wedding plan."

"With millions of people expected to watch Kate's every move on her wedding day, she's definitely going to be feeling a little bit of stress to try to look perfect," says weddingchannel.com's Amy Eisinger.

But now there are worries that the stress will drive Kate to be just like William's mother, the late princess Diana, who became "alarmingly" thin before her wedding. Diana's famous gown had to be repeatedly taken in, and that was the beginning of her battle with bulimia.

And Platell has this stern warning for Kate:

"Don't become like Diana. Don't let the pressure shrivel you up."
