INSIDE EDITION reports from the People's Choice Awards, where Mariah Carey acknowledged her tipsy speech the night before in Palm Springs, and George Lopez found the comedy in the Tiger Woods scandal.
"Everybody in the club getting tipsy."
It's a stunning admission from Mariah Carey. She says she was tipsy on champagne during this loopy appearance at the Palm Springs Film Festival where she said in her acceptance speech, "Please forgive me because I'm a little bit .. Um... (bleep) ... Yeah!"
At the People's Choice Awards in Los Angeles, Mariah explained the party atmosphere led her to get drunk the night before.
"We'd been sitting there celebrating this whole time having little splashes I hadn't eaten. You know, there's a time for celebration and a time for not but technically it's a party atmosphere so they trick you," said Carey.
She needed a helping hand from her husband Nick Cannon because her dress was so tight! Nick even had to help her walk up the steps onto the stage as she accepted the award for favorite R and B artist.
On stage, Carey said, "Thank you Nick especially for helping me with this dress because it's a drama."
Another dramatic moment came when Carrrie Underwood went up to accept her award for Favorite Country Artist, and tripped going up the steps.
