White House Makes It Loud and Clear - Lay Off Barron Trump
The statement comes a day after 'SNL' suspended one of their writers for mocking him.
Barron has been the target of mean tweets and cruel jokes on social media since the inauguration.
“It is a longstanding tradition that the children of presidents are afforded the opportunity to grow up outside of the political spotlight," the White House said in a statement Tuesday. "The White House fully expects this tradition to continue."
On Monday, a Saturday Night Live writer was suspended for a nasty tweet about the first boy.
Former first daughter Chelsea Clinton is also in Barron’s corner, tweeting Sunday: "Barron Trump deserves the chance every child does — to be a kid.”
