Olympic Gymnast Simone Biles Joins Inside Edition as Special Super Bowl Correspondent
Simone will bring you all the action from her hometown of Houston this week.
After becoming the most decorated Olympic gymnast in U.S. history, Simone Biles is adding yet another credit to her name: Inside Edition's special correspondent for Super Bowl LI.
Alongside Inside Edition's Megan Alexander, the 19-year-old will be reporting from her hometown of Houston, Texas, all week before the New England Patriots take on the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday.
Biles, who has a combined total of 19 Olympic and World Championship medals, said she's excited for her newest challenge.
"It's going to be a great matchup between the Patriots and Falcons, and I’m excited to take viewers behind-the-scenes leading up to the game," she said.
Biles and Alexander will bring viewers all the action from media day, as well as exclusive interviews and behind-the-scenes previews.
"Simone is the perfect person to serve as our Special Correspondent for Super Bowl 51," Inside Edition executive producer Charles Lachman said. "Like the players on the contending teams, she's an extraordinary athlete, who has achieved the highest distinction in her sport.
"In addition, her tremendous charm, intelligence, and poise are exactly what we look for in our on-air talent."
