As the 10-year anniversary of Anna Nicole Smith's death approaches, Inside Edition is getting an exclusive look into the life of the daughter she left behind.
Dannielynn Birkhead was just 5 months old when her mother died at age 39 on February 8, 2007.

The 10-year-old, who looks strikingly similar to her famous mom, lives with her father, Larry Birkhead, outside Louisville, Kentucky.
In an interview with Inside Edition that will air Thursday, Birkhead says his daughter lives a childhood like any other girl her age.
The bubbly fifth grader showed Inside Edition's Diane McInerney her bedroom, introduced her to the family's dogs, danced around the house and played her violin.
Despite past reports that Dannielynn could stand to inherit the fortune of Anna Nicole’s late husband, J. Howard Marshall, Anna Nicole’s lawyers lost the final request to obtain money from his estate in 2014.
Birkhead told Inside Edition that although he's tried to keep the headlines about the legal battle out of Dannielynn’s life, it’s still out there for her to see.
"We saw a video on YouTube that she was one of the ten richest kids in America," Birkhead said. "Then she wanted to go to the mall,” he said, laughing. "And I’m like, 'No, it’s not that. Trust me, it’s not that.'"
There were also reports that Birkhead would not allow Anna Nicole’s mother, Virgie Arthur, to visit her granddaughter due to bad blood following the custody battle over his daughter.

But Birkhead told Inside Edition there’s no truth to that.
"Anna's mom has seen Dannielynn, and she’s seen her a few times," he said. "I say that only because I want the story to stop."
The single dad adds that he welcomes other parental figures with open arms.
“I’ll take all the help I can get,” he said.
