A-Lo or J-Rod?: Former Yankee Slugger Alex Rodriguez Reportedly Dating Jennifer Lopez
The former Bronx Bomber has reportedly found romance with Jenny from the Block.
Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez are reportedly the hot new couple on the block after they were recently spotted out together.
"J-Rod" blared the front page of The New York Daily News Thursday. The paper has reported that the former slugger is dating the singer.
Rodriguez was spotted backstage during one of her recent concerts in Las Vegas. They go way back and have been friends for years.
A source told the New York Post: "They are really into each other because they have so much in common — from their Latin roots, to their love of New York and their kids."
Earlier in the week, Lopez told Trevor Noah on The Daily Show that she was not dating the singer Drake as had been rumored in recent months.
"I am not with Drake," she declared.
As for Lopez and Rodriguez, the couple is reportedly taking it slow. He lives in Miami to be close to his two young daughters, Natasha, 12, and Ella, 8.
Lopez spends a lot of time in Vegas because of her concert commitments, as well as New York City, where she films her NBC cop drama Shades of Blue.
A-Rod, 44, retired from baseball last year and has recently joined Fox as an MLB analyst. He was married once before to Cynthia Scurtis. The couple got hitched in 2002 but divorced in 2008. They had two daughters together.
The former baseball star has also been romantically linked over the years to actresses like Cameron Diaz and Kate Hudson, as well as retired wrestler Torrie Wilson.
Lopez, 47, has been married three times and is a mom to twins. Her first marriage was to actor Ojani Noa in 1997, which lasted one year. She later married actor and choreographer Cris Judd in 2001, which ended in divorce two years later. In 2004, she married singer Marc Anthony and they had a set of twins together, Emme and Maximilian. They ended their marriage 10 years later.
