Police Looking for Man Who Took Off in SUV With 9 Baby Parrots Inside

Police have since recovered six of the birds.
Florida police are looking for a man who stole an SUV with 9 baby parrots inside.
The Chevrolet Equinox was parked outside a business in Dunedin when it was reported stolen with the birds in the back seat on March 2.

According to the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office, the driver entered the business, leaving the SUV unlocked. That's when the suspect hopped in and drove off.
Detectives said the thief was captured on surveillance video sitting on the patio outside the business shortly before the theft.

He was then seen walking over to the SUV and driving away.
The SUV was found the next day with six of the baby parrots inside , but three of the birds remain missing.
